Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha has just signed Decision No. 71/QD-TTg dated January 17, 2024 amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decision No. 68/QD-TTg dated January 18, 2017 approving the Supporting Industry Development Program from 2016 to 2025.

Decision No. 71/QD-TTg amends and supplements Clause 2, Section III, Article 1 of Decision No. 68/QD-TTg regulating the contents of the Program to be implemented in the period from 2021 to 2025.

Accordingly, from 2021 to 2025, the Supporting Industry Development Program will connect and support supporting industry enterprises to become product suppliers for domestic and foreign customers, promote foreign investment in the supporting industry sector, etc.

In particular, Decision No. 71/QD-TTg estimates the actual budget for The current Program period from 2021 to 2025 is more than 870.7 billion VND. Of which, the state budget capital is 750.2 billion VND, other capital sources are 120.5 billion VND.

The Program’s implementation budget includes the state budget according to the current decentralization, in accordance with the state budget’s balancing capacity and other legally mobilized capital sources in accordance with the provisions of law managed and implemented by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

Other capital sources include: Funding sources, contributions of organizations and individuals carrying out supporting industry development activities; funding sources, contributions of domestic and foreign organizations and individuals and ODA capital; other legal capital sources in accordance with the provisions of law.
