In order to promptly support enterprises in the recovery of production and business activities after the Covid-19 pandemic is controlled, The 2nd Vietnam International Supporting Industry and Manufacturing Exhibition – VIMEXPO 2021, directed by Ministry of Industry and Trade, hosted by Industrial Development Center – Vietnam Industry Agency – Ministry of Industry and Trade, organized by C.I.S Vietnam Advertising & Exhibition JSC., will take place from December 15th to 17th, 2021 at Hanoi International Exhibition Center – I.C.E Hanoi, Friendship Cultural Palace. This is an annual event under the Supporting Industry Development Program approved by the Prime Minister.
During the exhibition days, besides the activities of displaying and introducing supporting industrial products of enterprises and localities across the country, the following activities will also be organized at VIMEXPO 2021: “Specialized Conferences” and “Business Matching Program”. In this place, participating enterprises will have the opportunities to find potential suppliers, new buyers, meet, contact and do business matching with FDI enterprises, industrial terminal manufacturers, increase the ability to approach and exchange with business partners, look for domestic suppliers, seek opportunities to expand the market, improve supply capacity, facilitate investment in production expansion, step by step participate in the global supply chains. Large enterprises that have registered to participate in VIMEXPO 2021 as Buyers include: Toyota, Ford, Honda, Nissan, T.T.T.I, Bosch, Samsung, Posco, Camsys, Clark, Hwaesung, Infac Vina, Hyundai (automotive), Vinatech Vina, Denso Vietnam, etc.
VIMEXPO 2021 with the participation of many typical enterprises manufacturing and doing business in Vietnamese and international supporting industries: Korean pavilion, Thaco Group, Toyota Vietnam, Weichai Group, Hanoi Plastics JSC, Dong Anh Licogi, Dien Quang, Alpha Vietnam, Viet Industry Group, VSIP Bac Ninh, CNC Tech, M3 Viettel, Tecotec, Tri Cuong, Zwsoft, HPJ, EMA, Do Thanh Aluminium, Nam Son, Prochem, Giai Phong Rubber, Tri Cuong, Technokom, Seiki, etc. promises to bring manufacturing and supporting industry enterprises many new cooperative relationships. At the exhibition, exhibitors will introduce product groups including components and accessories for automobile/motorcycle manufacturing and assembling industry, electronics, mechanical fabrication sector, hi-tech industry, etc.
The new feature of VIMEXPO this year is that the exhibition will take place in both offline and online formats in order to ensure the safety and success of the event. With the online format, visitors can visit 2D booths, connect and negotiate with exhibitors. In the context of cross-border travel restrictions, both Vietnamese and foreign enterprises can participate in VIMEXPO 2021.
At the exhibition, the Organizing Board will search for suitable supporting industry enterprises to join a group that will be trained to become supporting industry suppliers to the international standard, helping Vietnamese enterprises to join the global supply chains more deeply.
2021 is the second time that VIMEXPO has been organized. Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Do Thang Hai said, “VIMEXPO 2021 is a pivotal activity of connecting businesses, creating great opportunities for domestic and international investors, manufacturers and traders to introduce specialized products and services, new technologies in manufacturing and supporting industries… Not only is the exhibition a trade bridge helping to create and maintain sustainable cooperative relationships between domestic and international enterprises, it is also an important technology exchange forum, providing opportunities to share and exchange state-of-the-art technologies with international friends in manufacturing and supporting industries during the process of international integration”.
VIMEXPO 2021 with professional organization and a series of diverse activities such as Specialized Conferences, Business Matching, Product Introduction, Reality Program for Market Survey, etc. During 3 days from December 15th -17th, 2021, the exhibition is expected to attract the attention of numerous domestic and international organizations, corporations, enterprises to visit and work.
