PROMOTING OPPORTUNITIES FOR BUSINESSES IN THE SUPPORT INDUSTRY
Since Vietnam’s supporting industry was formed and developed later than other countries in the region and is still largely dependent on FDI enterprises, supporting industry growth is important to the increasing strategy for competitiveness of completing industrial products, cut-price, and added value creation. With the strong shift in the global supply chain and many multinational corporations investing in Vietnam, Vietnamese enterprises need to seize opportunities and should be supported to participate in the global supply chain. To take the chance to be involved in the global supply chain, Vietnamese businesses must change, invest more strongly, and connect more closely; requiring orientations, policy mechanisms, and strong solutions enough to develop to keep up with other countries in the region and in the world.
