Samsung is a multinational company headquartered in Korea, manufacturing in the fields of mobile phones, tablets, smart watches, televisions, refrigerators, washing machines, and household electronics, industry, etc.
Samsung is recently the largest foreign investor in Vietnam with the total investment capital increased by more 26 times to over USD 17.7 billion. To date, the full presence of Samsung in Vietnam now includes 6 factories and 01 R&D Center, of which SEV (Bac Ninh) and SEVT (Thai Nguyen) are the two largest mobile phone manufacturers of Samsung in the world, SEHC (Ho Chi Minh City) is the largest home electronics factory in Southeast Asia and SVMC is Samsung’s largest R&D Center in Southeast Asia.
The total export value of Samsung Electronics and the subsidiaries in Vietnam in 2020 reached about USD 56,5 billion, contributing more than 20% to the total export turnover.
Samsung Vietnam has attended VIMEXPO since its first years and evaluated this program to be the leading specialized exhibition on supporting industry and manufacturing in Vietnam.
